Last week on Mother’s Day, I decided to have a get together with my family. As I was preparing the menu, I thought to get a nice Zinfandel because the weather is already getting hot in Miami and that wine would be refreshing, plus it matches perfectly with the food that I was cooking, Indian, my favorite!
Without even thinking twice, I went to Ojala Wine‘ s website to find where was the nearest place to get an Ojala Zinfandel and I did. I chose Ojala Wine because it has a nice meaning, first of all, it’s a local brand and I love to support amazing business locally, we are here to help each other, and second, I have tried Ojala Wine in many different Food and Wine Festivals here in Miami and I know how tasty they are.
Last Friday, I went to Downstairs, a store with different locations all over Miami and I bought my wine for my dinner.
My family came and I opened the delicious Ojala Wine. It was perfect for our Mother’s Day celebration, especially because my Mom loves pink wines and when she saw that this wine was pink and cold, she automatically smiled.
We had some appetizers that my sister brought and they paired nicely with the wine. Italian bruschettas and some Arabic dips.
Then for our dinner, I really enjoyed my food with the wine, it has a soft flavor that went perfect with the chicken tikka masala I prepared as well as with the Mango chicken. As far as for the alcohol level, it was nice and we didn’t feel it heavy at all.
We kept it in the fridge so whenever we wanted to pour more, it was cold and refreshing!!
Guess what? I already bought another bottle of Ojala Wine, but this time a Cabernet Sauvignon. I will definitely let you know my experience with this one soon!!

Mi familia vino y abrí el delicioso Ojala Wine. Fue perfecto para nuestra celebración del Día de la Madre, especialmente porque a mi Mama le encantan los vinos rosados y cuando vio que este vino era rosado y frío, sonrió automáticamente.
Comimos algunos aperitivos que mi hermana trajo y combinaron muy bien con el vino. Bruschettas italianas y cremas árabes.
Luego para nuestra cena, realmente disfruté mi comida con el vino, tiene un sabor suave que fue perfecto con el tikka masala de pollo que preparé, así como con el pollo Mango. En cuanto al nivel de alcohol, fue agradable y no lo sentimos pesado en absoluto.
Lo guardamos en la nevera, así que cuando queríamos servir más, estaba frío y era refrescante.
¿Adivina qué? Ya compré otra botella de vino Ojala Wine, pero esta vez un Cabernet Sauvignon. ¡Definitivamente te haré saber mi experiencia con este pronto!
