You probably already know how much I enjoy life and what it has to offer, and this past August 16th, we celebrated in our beautiful Miami, The 2nd Annual National Rum at The Confidante Hotel, in Miami Beach.
Parking was not that bad as I thought. I went early, found parking two blocks from the hotel and I paid $9.00.
The Hotel also offers Valet Parking.
You can get the tickets for this event online and print them or just have it on your phone at the moment you will check in. I had a giveaway as I partnered with the National Rum Day Fest organizers to give one lucky winner the opportunity to go and enjoy this event too.
It started at 6:00 pm but they also offered an extra hour for the VIP ticket holders and they got some goodies plus the fact to enjoy one hour more than the rest.
My friends and I got in at 6:00 pm after we checked in and they did check everyone’s ID, making sure the everyone getting inside was 21 and older.
It felt great to walk around this gorgeous Hotel as we were surrounded by over 22 local and global rum brands sampling their marks and making cocktails.
I tried so many different cocktails but my favorite thing was to try the Rums straight and without any mix because they tasted, looked, and smelled so good.
They had music at all times, from DJs and a live band playing tropical and fun music. I loved to see many of my friends there while we all enjoyed our drinks and treats.
I liked the Hotel so much, honestly, I think it was the perfect spot for a great event like this one. Watching the sunset, walking around the pool sampling all these Rums, enjoying music, what else can you ask for?
For the first time, I had a mojito Popsicle in here and it was both refreshing and tasty. Did I tell you that I almost win a Rum bottle from one of the brands? But I had to go and I could not stay 🙂
I loved how many different types of Rum they had, with catchy background music, the wonderful place at The Confidante, and the best ambiance ever. The colors and flavors of Rum we tried were just perfect. Thank you!

Probablemente ya saben lo mucho que disfruto la vida y lo que tiene para ofrecer, y este pasado 16 de Agosto, celebramos en nuestra hermosa Miami, el 2ºDia Nacional del Ron en el Confidante Hotel, de Miami Beach.
El estacionamiento no era tan malo como yo pensaba. Fui temprano, encontré puesto a dos cuadras del hotel y pagué $ 9.00. El hotel también ofrece estacionamiento con servicio de valet.
Puedes obtener las entradas para este evento en línea e imprimirlas o simplemente tenerlas en tu teléfono al momento de entrar. Incluso tuve un sorteo cuando me asocié con los organizadores del National Rum Day Fest para darle a un afortunado ganador la oportunidad de ir y disfrutar de este evento también.
El evento comenzó a las 6:00 p.m. pero también ofrecieron una hora extra para las entradas VIP y ellos obtuvieron algunos obsequios además del hecho de disfrutar una hora más de esta fiesta.
Mis amigos y yo entramos a las 6:00 p. m. Después de registrarnos y revisaron la identificación de todos asegurandose de que todos fueran mayores de 21.
Fue maravilloso pasear por este magnífico hotel ya que estábamos rodeados por más de 22 marcas de ron locales, globales y preparaban cócteles.
Probé muchos cócteles diferentes, pero lo que más me gustó fue probar los rones directamente y sin ningún tipo de mezcla porque sabían, se veían y olían muy bien.
Tenían música en todo momento, de DJs y una banda en vivo tocando música tropical y divertida. Me encantó ver a muchos de mis amigos allí mientras todos disfrutamos nuestras bebidas. Me encantó el Hotel, sinceramente, creo que fue el lugar perfecto para un gran evento como este. Ver el atardecer, caminando alrededor de la piscina probando todos estos rones, disfrutando de la música, ¿qué más puedes pedir?
Por primera vez, tuve un helado de mojito aquí, estuvo refrescante y sabroso. ¿Te dije que casi gano una botella de ron de una de las marcas? Pero tenía que irme y no me podía quedar hasta el final 🙂
Me encantaron los diferentes tipos de ron que tenían, con música de fondo pegajosa, el maravilloso lugar de The Confidante y el mejor ambiente. Los colores y sabores de los ron que probamos fueron simplemente perfectos. ¡Gracias!
