My friend and I went to Flamingo Theater for the Brickell Food and Wine. We had an amazing time.
Flamingo Theater it’s a nice place for events like this one, not too big and with a cute stage. The layout of it was great because it has tables and chairs on the front and then some sofas with their tables on the back of the theatre. The DJ was on a corner but in an elevated place and the decoration in here was pretty retro and vintage, loved it.
Among of the food sponsors it was; Toro Toro, and he recognized me from another event, their tuna was incredibly fresh and the empanadas were the best beef empanadas I have tried, warm, juicy,and filled with flavors. Then we tried the different wines from Finding Wine. The Mexican White Wine was my favorite of the night. Check out their website for upcoming wine tasting and other events. One of the owners, Fabian was very courteous with us and told us everything about their wine.
They had live music, first a gorgeous lady singing Latin Jazz, so classy. Then a Reggae Group, so fresh and last but definitely not least, Tito Puente Jr. and his band played amazing for us. I danced the whole time!!!
I really enjoyed it all and the place was perfect for this event.
Ayer mi amiga y yo fuimos a Flamingo Theatre para el festival de comida y vino en Brickell. La pasamos de maravilla.
Flamingo Theatre es un lugar agradable para eventos como éste, no es demasiado grande y con un lindo escenario. La decoración de este lugar es genial porque tiene mesas y sillas en el frente y luego algunos sofás con sus mesas en la parte de atrás del teatro. El DJ estaba en una esquina pero en un lugar elevado y la decoración de aquí era bastante retro y vintage, me encantó.
Entre los patrocinadores de comida estaba; Toro Toro, y me reconoció de otro evento, su tuna era increíblemente fresca y las empanadas eran las mejores empanadas de carne que he probado, calientes, jugosas y con mucho sabor. Luego probamos los diferentes vinos de Finding Wine. El vino blanco mexicano fue mi favorito de la noche. Echa un vistazo a su sitio web para la próxima cata de vinos y otros eventos. Fabian fue muy cortés con nosotros y nos dijo todo sobre sus vinos.
Tenían música en vivo, primero una señora preciosa cantando jazz latino, tan elegante. Luego un grupo de reggae, muy fresco y por último pero definitivamente no menos importante, Tito Puente Jr. y su banda quienes tocaron increíble para nosotros. Bailé todo el tiempo !!!
