Hello everyone!! Check out this Key West Travel Guide I prepared for you. You can find great places to visit all over the Keys! We went on January 2021 and noticed that the COVID restrictions like wearing masks and social distancing were reinforced by business owners, the city, and even the police. I loved that!
¡¡Hola a todos!! No te pierdas esta guía de viaje de Key West que preparé para ustedes. ¡Puedes encontrar excelentes lugares para visitar por todos los Cayos! Fuimos en Enero del 2021 y notamos que las restricciones de COVID como el uso de máscaras y el distanciamiento social fueron reforzadas por los dueños de negocios, la ciudad e incluso la policía. ¡Me encantó!
State Park Dagny Johnson Key Largo:
There’s an entrance fee and after you pay you can put the envelope and place it in your car. Parking is not that big but it’s free. They have a few benches at this great place for families, to bike, or simply to walk around enjoying the weather.
Hay una tarifa de entrada y después de pagar puedes poner el sobre en tu carro. El estacionamiento no es tan grande, pero es gratuito. Tienen algunos bancos para sentarte. Este lugar esta super para familias, andar en bicicleta o simplemente para caminar mientras disfrutas del clima.

Florida Keys Wild Bird Center:
The entrance is free and also parking. You will enjoy the birds here and all the information they have about them. I cherished the view at the end of the walkway.
La entrada es gratuita y también el estacionamiento. Disfrutarás de muchas aves aquí y de toda la información que tienen sobre ellas. Me enamoré de la vista al final del caminito!
Cafe Moka:
Very bohemian coffee shop with seating areas outside since you are not allowed to sit inside due to COVID. You should try their almond pastry! so appetizing.
Esta cafetería muy bohemia tiene áreas para sentarse afuera, ya que no se le permite adentro debido COVID. ¡Te recomiendo probar el pastel de almendras! Demasiado Rico.
Florida Keys Brewing:
I got a beer flight and went outside to the beer garden. This place was perfect, I didn’t want to leave, I was so happy there. The nice ambiance, wonderful background music, and the taste of the beers were incredible too. The prices are excellent!!
Pedi varias cerveza para probar varios sabores. Nos sentamos al aire libre en el jardin. Este lugar es perfecto, no quería irme, estaba tan feliz allí.

Mallory Square:
Here you can find many restaurants, bars, and a few benches for you to sit down as you admire the Famous Key West Sunset.
They always have live music going on and sometimes even fun acts from different people.

Willie T’s:
Check out their yummy Philly cheesesteaks, so rich, tender, and tasty. The prices are great here as well as the ambiance with live music.

Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum:
Such a wonderful experience. They offer a free tour daily. After the tour, you can walk around the entire house, take pictures or simply relax in the gardens or by the pool!
I recommend you to do this activity! The cost per person is $16 for adults.
Tuve una experiencia maravillosa aqui. Ofrecen un recorrido gratuito todos los días en donde explican con lujo de detalles todo acerca de Hemingway. Después del recorrido, puede caminar por toda la casa, tomar fotografías o simplemente relajarse en los jardines o junto a la piscina.

Duval Street:
Duval Street is the most famous street on Key West.
With many restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir stores, museums, and so much more. There’s plenty of parking spots on the street as well as parking garages.
Duval Street es la calle más famosa de Key West.
Con muchos restaurantes, cafeterías, tiendas de recuerdos, museos y mucho más. Hay muchos lugares de estacionamiento en la calle.
Key West Historic Memorial Sculpture Garden:
I have no idea how we end up here but it was super nice because this place is open to the public and free!! Such an informative place.
No tengo idea de cómo terminamos aquí, pero fue súper agradable pasear en este lugar está abierto al público y es gratis. Un lugar tan informativo.
Historic Seaport Harbor Walk:
This HarborWalk is located inside of the historic see forth in Key West.
As you walk here you will see and experience many restaurants, they rent boats for fishing or just in enjoying the sunset.

Southernmost Point:
Go early! People are nice and they took pictures of us!
The view here it’s astonishing and it’s a very important spot in the keys because it means so much especially for Cubans.

Moondog Cafe:
Cozy and such a cute place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!! I had their Shakshouka and the BEST coffee I have had so far; a lavender coffee late.
¡Un lugar acogedor y tan lindo para desayuno, almuerzo o la cena! Comi su Shakshouka y el MEJOR café que he tomado en mi vida; es un café con leche de lavanda.
Papa’s Pilar Rum Distillery, Hemingway Rum Co.
Where do I begin? Wow, I loved how much I learned on this tour. Not only about Rum and the marvelous way they make it but also about Hemingway and how everything is connected.
I love how organized they were and how much they took care of the guest as they followed the COVID restrictions.
This place was spotless and honestly, I felt so safe here and having a great time, that I didn’t want to leave.
As far as their Rum selection, is phenomenal, from the taste to the packaging!! WOW. They also have a store for you to get their Rum and so many other things and souvenirs. I wanted everything here.

¿Por Dónde empiezo? Wao, me encantó todo lo que aprendí en esta tour. No solo sobre el ron y la manera maravillosa en que lo hacen, sino también sobre Hemingway y cómo todo está conectado.
Me encanta lo organizados que fueron y lo mucho que cuidaron a los huéspedes mientras seguían las restricciones de COVID.
Este lugar estaba impecable y, sinceramente, me sentí muy segura aquí y no quería irme.
En cuanto a su selección de ron, es fenomenal, desde el sabor hasta el empaque.También tienen una tienda para que compres su ron y muchas otras cosas y recuerdos. Yo quería comprar todo aquí.

As I was walking on Duval Street I found this place and we went for their Happy Hour. I’m pretty sure is one of the best in town not only because of the great price and selection of wines and spirits but also, because of its gorgeous inside decoration. This place is delightful and fancy!!
Mientras caminaba por la calle Duval, encontré este lugar y fuimos a su Happy Hour. Estoy bastante segura de que es uno de los mejores de la ciudad, no solo por el excelente precio y la selección de vinos y licores, sino también por su hermosa decoración interior. ¡Este lugar es encantador y sumamente elegante!
San Carlos Institute:
First of all, this place’s entrance is FREE and I was impressed with the amount of information about Cuban history and how they migrated to the USA. It was such an emotional time to be here.
En primer lugar, la entrada a este lugar es GRATUITA y me impresionó la cantidad de información sobre la historia de Cuba y cómo emigraron a Estados Unidos. Fue un momento muy emotivo para mi.
Lazy Days Restaurant:
Oh WOW with all my heart. I am so happy to have found a place like this one. This restaurant was on our way back to Miami and what a find!! I loved it because their:

Oh WAO con todo mi corazón. Estoy muy feliz de haber encontrado un lugar como este. Este restaurante estaba en nuestro camino de regreso a Miami y ¡qué descubrimiento!
